Heather Clark, Director of Women’s Ministries

Heather Clark has always called Florida home, but enjoyed a childhood of great cultural diversity as she moved about with her military family.  Plugging into a local church was a high priority of her family at each new place.  That must be how her love of God and love of people began. God has cultivated her passions and called her to serve Him as a wife and mom, on a church ethics committee, as a public speaker to women and church groups, as a private practice psychologist, and as our Women’s Ministry Director.

Heather holds psychology degrees from the University of Florida, B.S., University of Central Florida, M.S., and Georgia State University, Ph.D.  She has also completed courses at Reformed Theological Seminary and Knox Theological Seminary.  She is an adjunct professor at Liberty University and Knox Theological Seminary.

Heather and Tec have been married since 1999, and have two children, Nicole and Christian.  Tec is a deacon here, and the kids are thriving in our Children’s Ministry.

Mark and Kaitlin Roloff, Director of Young Adult Ministries

By the grace of God, Mark has always desired to help his fellow-man and to be a positive influence on his community. He has been serving his community as a professional First Responder; starting in 2006 as a lifeguard and moving on to serve as a Firefighter/Paramedic. After being reborn in Nov. 2011, Mark developed a passion for the Great Commission and is excited to share the gospel with his peers. The only qualification he has to serve at the Cross is that he is a Christian who is thankful “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise,” and “has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.”

Kaitlin was born and raised in South Florida.  She was home-schooled until college. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in May 2013.  She has an extensive background in swimming including being a swimmer, coach, lifeguard, and she ran a junior lifeguard camp for 3 years.  She was raised in the church and aspires to obey the Lord wherever that may lead and currently that is leading her into the ministry of young adults.

Kaitlin and Mark were married at The Cross in August of 2013.

Heather Covalt, Community Outreach Coordinator

Heather has a passion for serving the Lord by reaching out to the hurting in our community and beyond.  Building upon a background in nursing, she has a special heart for orphans, widows and those who are victims of human trafficking.

Heather serves at OneHope in several capacities.  As Vice President of Special Projects for Pamoja Charity, she has a particular love for the 20 street boys housed in Nairobi, Kenya, loving them as her own.  She has traveled to China, E. Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda), Columbia, Nicaragua, Amsterdam, and England.

We are thankful for Heather’s extensive experience in researching, designing and implementing service projects locally and abroad.
